Hah hah hah – Yeah, I’m really hard on my equipment.

Canon and Nikon are both good cameras. My dad shoots a D80 I believe. I’m with Pentax largely because of the ability to use just about any Pentax lens ever made, regardless of the age.

you got new weapon! congrats! you already changed your camera for four times! can’t believe it:) I have never used Pentax, and I always use Canon. why not choose Canon or nikon?

Yeah, I’ve been trying to get back in the swing of throwing up some blogs on a more consistent basis. I’m paying for this stuff, might as well use it. Although FSJ probably isn’t as interesting as other places I have lived.

It’s extremely silly that such a thing as conserving energy to “Save the Earth” is relegated to one hour of one day per year. I myself use candles all the time for light in order to keep the electric bill down, but then again, I’m cheap and want to spend less money on utilities; I bike everywhere (even in the rainy Vancouver winter season), so I don’t have to spend money on transit; I recycle everything I can and don’t buy a bunch of useless trinkets. Not to toot my own horn, but every day is Earth day for me, and I don’t participate in that silly 1-hour crap.

I believe I was a bit too hard on Patch Java…they served up a mean BBQ burger the other day for lunch.

The hours are annoying and it seems to be an issue throughout most cities. I think these places have to move a lot of coffee to pull a profit and unless you’ve got a fairly decent critical mass it is going to be hard to fill seats at 9pm. Tims is open to about 10pm around here, but it isn’t what I would call an inviting atmosphere. I drink enough of that stuff at work. Our office seems to be fueled by it and the neutral, non-pretentious setting makes it really the only place to shoot the shit with contractors.

Good to see that you have a variety of places to choose from, although I would expect nothing less from TO!
