A song of ice and fire

George R.R. Martin is still working on A Feast for Crows, the fourth installment in the Song of Ice and Fire series. Apparently it is currently over 1300 pages in length. FINISH IT DAMN IT! I’m getting impatient. According to his site, circa January 2004, the book was to have been finished in April 2004.

At least a sample has been posted 😀

Just when I thought one could possibly cram another KTV establishment into Nanjing, I go and find something like this. Street KTV. Yup, you pay someone for the opportunity to bust a move with all your favorite 1980s’s pop songs on the busy streets…or it was someone just panhandling for a couple of kuai. I’m not 100% sure…it’s probably the latter, but I wouldn’t throw out the possibility of the former.

    Only in China……

My prediction about Jon Snow in the Song of Ice and Fire thing: His mom is actually his father’s sister (so he isnt really his son) and his dad is the dragon guy that raped her (hence the reason his dad would never reveal his heritage for fear of the king killing him).

That would make Jon Snow a Targaryen, which would tie in nicely with the return of the dragons (got that sounded geeky)

I’ve seriously got to re-read all three books before I tackle A Feast for Crows. I can hardly remember the plot lines…heh heh heh
