<description>Actually, the test you took is identical to the core questions of the Myers-Briggs personality test, they just changed the wording of the questions to give it a Star Trek theme.

I took both the full and short versions when I worked for the Ministry of Forests as part of a team building seminar. It is quite comprehensive and scientific, and their classification scheme seems to parallel my own personality very closely. I think the key is complete and absolute honesty. I took the test again, and changed just two of my answers and got a completely different result. I&#039;m sure though for some people it just doesn&#039;t guage their personality very well.

But it is just a test...often used by companies and government ministries as a tool to quantify personalities in an effort to increase employee awareness of different types of people they may encounter in the work place. After I took the test at the MOF we explored different strategies that work for each type of personality. The biggest benefit though, was that it provided a window (however generalized) into the personalities of my co-workers. You get to know people in you work place quite well after taking this test together.

<description>Star Trek Personality Test -- Results

Myers-Briggs would say that you are an ENFJ (Extrovert, Intuitive, Feeler, Judger). In Star Trek language, you share a basic personality configuration with Deanna Troi and Jake Sisko.

People like you are generally highly empathic and easily hurt, particularly when people are disrespectful of your opinions. Your best friends are curious about how you feel and what you think. You have a well-structured personal philosophy and enjoy sharing your views and learning from others&#039;. You&#039;re creative and original, and when you have your facts straight you can come easily and quickly to a decision.

You&#039;re friendly and affectionate, articulate and and outgoing. You&#039;re very tactful, which is good, as you like to ask personal questions.

You&#039;re organized and responsive. As long as your social needs are met, you&#039;re productive. You dislike messy environments and generally like to keep things in order. You cannot stand unresolved issues in a relationship.

Your primary goal in life is harmonious relationships with others. Your reward is truly communicating your ideas and seeing your relationships last.

Good careers for your type include being a therapist, magazine editor, corporate trainer, fund raiser, TV producer, holistic health practitioner, marketing executive, and writer.

What a bunch of bull-shit. B, I don&#039;t know how you found this, but its gotta be the geekiest thing I have ever seen. I am truely stupider for having completed it.
